NEW! Free SSL Certificate for all users!
We are excited to announce that we are providing free SSL for all account starting from today. This feature is only available to accounts that use the free traineasy sudomain e.g. companyname.traineasy.net .
Why this is important
SSL is becoming increasingly important on the world wide web. Traditionally, it was restricted to only pages where sensitive information would be entered e.g. login pages, payment pages etc. However, these days, the recommendation is for all the web to move to ssl. Google now give a search ranking boost to secure sites. Also, as of march this year, Facebook requires new sites to be secure in order to use their social login feature.
It is in light of this that we decided to provide free all accounts using our free subdomain. Accounts using custom domain names (e.g. mycompany.com or subdomain.mycompany.com ) will need to generate their own SSL certificates.
To enable SSL, simply login to your traineasy application and navigate to the settings page. Then set 'Use ssl' to 'Yes'. Click 'Save' and you are done.
